Downtown's Post Houston unveils new shopping hub with Japanese vending machines, vintage finds, and more
Shop X, a micro-retail village within Post Houston, opened its doors on January 13, ushering in a fresh shopping experience for Houstonians. Shop X provides shoppers with a unique selection of over 15 premier retailers and shops each boasting a curated selection of items tailored specifically to the Houston area.
Shop X is the latest addition to Post Houston which is already a downtown hotspot, featuring over 30 restaurants and bar concepts at Post Market Food Hall, rooftop fun on its SkyLawn, and a calendar packed with live music and community events.

Located in the X-Atrium, adjacent to POST's iconic X-staircase, Shop X is anchored by Houston's first Gachapon Hall, Tokyo Story. Gachapon are Japanese vending machines, found in Tokyo's iconic Akihabara district. The Gachapon at Shop X will offer unique toys reflecting Houston's diverse heritage. Shoppers can purchase tokens to get their hands on the coveted trinkets.

From jewelry makers and vintage apparel favorites to skin care and home goods purveyors, Shop X's diverse range of merchants caters to various tastes and budgets. Featured brands include Teeli Jewels, Ayna Jewels, Canari Med Spa, Divercity Clothing Co., Wick Haus, Paddy's Gourmet Popcorn, and more.
The grand opening celebration of Shop X, scheduled at 11 am Sunday, February 4, promises a unique experience with a drone ribbon cutting, coinciding with POST's Lunar New Year celebration.
