Houston designer Jonathan Tinkle recently hopped over the pond to introduce his Jonathan Blake collection to London admirers in her first overseas trunk show.
Blake and Houston supporters Dr. Meherwan Boyce and wife Zarine co-hosted a reception and trunk show in the penthouse of the Grosvenor House Apartments on tony Park Lane in the British capital for a stellar group of guests, including the Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia, Princess Donatella Flick, Nada Kirdar, wife of billionaire businessman Nemir Kirdar, and Victoria Christian of the famed Clive Christian perfume company.
Christian was introduced to Tinkle in Houston last spring and has become a big fan of his work.
The 22-year-old designer showcased selections from his current fall/winter collection and the spring/summer 2014 collection, which he debuted last month in a lavish runway show at the Houston home of Deana and Larry Blackburn.
