New collection from Tiffany's first female design director fits jewelry lovers to a T
Tiffany & Co. isn’t content to just sit on its little blue box. Instead, the iconic jeweler is pushing the boundaries of the brand, introducing the Tiffany T collection of modern jewelry designed by an equally modern woman, Francesca Amfitheatrof, Tiffany’s first female design director.
The Tiffany T collection is a study in contrasts, where sleek angles pair with bendable lines.
The Tiffany T collection is a study in contrasts, where sleek angles pair with bendable lines. A diamond rings bends with ease, yet stays put on your finger. The Tiffany T wire bracelet is solid in form, yet fluid in movement on your arm.
The new direction is compliments of Amfitheatrof, a trained jeweler and silversmith who earned a master’s degree from the Royal College of Art in 1993 and joined Tiffany in 2013.
In between, she designed jewelry for other companies including Chanel and Fendi and a men’s collection for Kauffman Stanley in Switzerland. The collection of necklaces, bracelets, cuffs and rings are available in rose gold, sterling silver and 18 karat gold. Prices range from $350 to $20,000.
