Arian Foster, fashion designer? Texans star collaborates with Target on new T-shirts
Arian Foster has a lot of talents, but who would have thought fashion designer was one of them?
Just in time for the NFL regular season, the Houston Texans star has partnered with Target to create several distinctive T-shirts for Houston fans as part of the retailer's Pro Merch collection.
The Foster-designed T-shirts include graphics inspired by his signature post-touchdown "Namaste Bow" and "I Don’t Know You Bro" quip.
Foster designed four shirts for Texans fans (two men’s & two women’s) that are available at Houston area Target stores. They showcase his distinct personality and love for the Bayou City with graphics inspired by his signature post-touchdown "Namaste Bow" and "I Don’t Know You Bro" quip.
Target officials say the exclusive collection marks the first time a mass retailer has collaborated with pro football players in this fashion, as the players worked to ensure their designs reflected their distinct personalities, keeping their fans in mind throughout. For four months, the players worked with Target’s design team to bring their signature style to life.
The T-shirts, which retail for $19.99, are available at Houston-area Target stores through the end of December — and potentially through the playoff season.
Other players who participated include Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Chicago Bears kick returner Devin Hester, Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch and San Francisco 49ers inside linebacker Patrick Willis.
Sorry, Dallas Cowboys fans. Your team wasn't included in the collection.
