For the River Oaks tennis tournament poolside luncheon, a high point of the spring social calendar, the fashion flock turned out in everything from capri pants and summer tops to sun dresses to ladylike luncheon attire. Making a fashion statement among them was Joanna Hartland Marks, who wore this striking, bold blue jumper by Alexis, a find at Tootsies.
A paralegal and mother of two, Joanna explained that she was looking for something playful and youthful but stylish.
She completed her outfit with Christian Louboutin sandals and plenty of bling. Her ring and necklace were by Suzanne Kalan, her earrings custom I.W. Marks Jewelers, the watch by Rolex and the cuff bracelet by Mary Esses. The glamorous shades were Chanel.
When asked about her penchant for the color blue, she responded,"Royal blue is the color of her mother's eyes, as well as mine. I find it comforting."
