Suited for spring: Bold colors are fit for a confident man — or well-dressed University of Texas fan
Why do women get to wear all the colorful clothes?
For spring, Salvatore Ferragamo is letting men have a little fun, too, with a slick silk suit in a shade that The Fashion Daily calls "sweet-potato hued." We prefer to call it "burnt orange" because it fits the bill for any well-dressed University of Texas fan.
Whatever the color, model Garrett Neff recently rocked the red carpet at a screening of Sabotage in New York in this orange Ferragamo suit that is part of designer Massimiliano Giornetti's colorful spring/summer collection for the famed Italian fashion house.
Aftewards Neff paired the jacket with a pair of cobalt blue slacks and a creme-colored sweater at a party to celebrate the reopening of the Ferragamo boutique at the Saks Fifth Avenue Store on Fifth Avenue. At the same party, model Ryan Kennedy stood out in a Ferragamo sweater with a bright orange 2 on the front.
The collection is available at the Salvatore Ferragamo boutique in The Galleria. The suit jacket is $2,150, and slacks, $990.
