Chris Brown makes surprise appearance at Adrian Peterson's charity fashion show
The spectacle that is NBA All-Star Weekend continued at House of Deréon Saturday night, as sporting-world celebs took the runway for a charity fashion event benefiting the All Day Foundation— a nonprofit created by Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson to help at-risk children.
Serving as master of ceremonies, comedian Alex Thomas (Don't Be a Menace, Player's Club) revved up the audience as models with the Neal Hamil Agency highlighted new work by designers Jerri Moore, Brandi Russell and Houston's own Chloe Dao.
But it was Los Angeles designer Jhoanna Alba who truly got the crowd jumping as she rolled out a model roster the read like the cover of Sports Illustrated.
But it was Los Angeles designer Jhoanna Alba who truly got the crowd jumping as she rolled out a model roster the read like the cover of Sports Illustrated: Houston Texans J.J. Watt and Matt Schaub, Green Bay Packers cornerback Tramon Williams, NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens, former NBA point guard Keyon Dooling and former NFL safety Robert Griffith.
During his closing speech, Adrian Peterson threw one more celebrity into the mix as he brought out the notorious Chris Brown — fresh from his recent physical altercation with singer-songwriter Frank Ocean.
While not exactly the best poster boy for the down-trodden, Brown made quite the splash during his 10-minute appearance.
