A Houston Rodeo first: Legendary cowboy boots to be on sale thanks to Pinto Ranch
Pinto Ranch Fine Western Wear and Lucchese are coming together to introduce a booth at the 2014 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, marking the first time that such a large collection of Lucchese Handmade Classics cowboy boots will be available for purchase at the annual event.
One-third of the 2,400 square-foot booth — which will be open from March 4 to March 23 — will be dedicated solely to Lucchese Handmade Classics and more than 1,000 pairs of the legendary cowboy boots will be in stock.
"We wanted to bring better western wear to the Rodeo," Pinto Ranch Fine Western Wear president and CEO Walter Pye said in a statement. "Pinto Ranch will be offering the finest apparel and accessories for men and women and especially the opportunity to walk-in and walk-out with a pair of Handmade Classic boots by Lucchese."
"We wanted to bring better western wear to the Rodeo."
Lucchese will be bringing their top boot experts to the event who will help customers choose the right pair and find the right fit. Two trunk shows are also planned "for the customer who wants to order their dream pair of boots straight from the bootmakers themselves."
"Lucchese has such a proud legacy of making authentic handmade cowboy boots. We wanted to reach our Handmade Classics customer especially at the renowned Houston Rodeo where the cowboy tradition lives on," Lucchese president Doug Kindy said.
In addition to the Lucchese boots, the booth will also offer fine western apparel and accessories including hand-engraved buckles, southwest artisan jewelry and designer collections for men and women. Most of the booth's merchandise is exclusive to Pinto Ranch and cannot be found anywhere else at the Rodeo.
