Just in time for the holidays, the state's biggest mistletoe ball is back in Houston, so you can get those smooches in all season long.

'Mistletoe on the Go!' hangs from a candy cane in Market Square Park on Milam Street in Downtown.

It's up now through January 2, 2018, so you can even snag a New Year's kiss from your sweetie under the giant piece of greenery. If you go, Market Square's Twitter page is asking you to take a selfie with your loved ones and post it online using #XOmistletoe.

While much of the focus on award-worthy movies is put on those that come out in the final months of the year, the release dates for the ones that made the list of CultureMap's Best Movies of 2025 spanned nine months, from mid-March to late December. The one thing they all had in common was an attention to storytelling, with the occasional burst of starpower to put them over the top.
