Is Michael Buble still basking in the afterglow of his recent (three-for-one) marriage to Argentinean model Luisana Lopilato? Is he begging for media attention after a couple of years without hit songs? Is he just grasping for a way to fit new cover songs into his repertoire?
Because the usually classy Canadian crooner has resorted to publicly bashing Kardashians.
According to the New York Post, Buble surprised his audience at an iHeartRadio Live performance:
Ladies and gentleman, I have a very special guest," the suave singer said during the intimate show at the P.C. Richard & Son Theater. "Please welcome Kim Kardashian [to the stage]." When the audience gasped, Buble bashed their hopes by adding, "Nah, just [bleeping] with you! That bitch isn't coming on my stage."
Perhaps this was meant to be a funny introduction to his next song, Nina Simone's "Feeling Good," which Buble dedicated to Kardashian's soon-to-be-ex-husband, NBA player Kris Humphries. Buble reportedly joked, "She hurt him, she hurt him! I wish she had hurt me!"
Kardashian's extravagant wedding and 72-days-later divorce filing couldn't matter less to me. Her own fans seem to be quickly losing patience with former confidants claiming that the whole thing was a publicity stunt.
Whatever Buble's reason, aren't we all pretty tired of hearing about Kim Kardashian?
