Chris Brown kicks off tour in Houston
Chris Brown has announced his first big career move since being sentenced to five years probation for assaulting Rihanna in February. On November 14 he'll launch his 19-city "Fan Appreciation" tour here in Houston, performing at the House of Blues. In order to shake off the "domestic abuser" label that might make tickets a hard sell (if not for his teen fan base than at least for their parents), he's donating part of his tour proceeds to the Jenesse Center, a Los Angeles domestic violence shelter, and to Best Buddies. Will the public apology and nod to charity lure his fans back? We'll see...
