The soap opera, one of the longest-running on the globe, has seen millions fall for the sublimely over-the-top characters as they engage in the kind of hijinks that have paved the way for modern melodramas everywhere. (The fights! The deaths — and comebacks! The love triangles!)
Now, everyone’s favorite characters from the charming town of Salem are bringing the drama to H-Town for Days of Our Lives in Houston, an exclusive meet-and-greet at Memorial City Mall on Saturday, August 10.
Stars scheduled to appear include Deidre Hall (Marlena Evans Black), Drake Hogestyn (John Black), Lauren Koslow (Kate Roberts), Lamon Archey (Eli Grant), Matt Ashford (Jack Deveraux), Camila Banus (Gabi Hernandez), Linsey Godfrey (Sarah Horton), Melissa Reeves (Jennifer Horton), Sal Stowers (Lani Price), and Paul Telfer (Xander Kiriakis).
The free event offers fans of the show to interact with the actors and score priceless selfies and autographs. For added fun, the event promises a trivia challenge and other games.
Days quickly became known for the innovative storylines, which later (and often weirdly) turned to the supernatural. The fictional Horton, Brady, and DiMera families have become fixtures in the soap universe; the show has become an Emmy juggernaut.
