Jeremy Piven still haunted by stripper reporter Sarah Tressler's lacklusterreview of his lovemaking
Sure, Houstonians were surprised when Houston Chronicle society reporter Sarah Tressler was outed as an exotic dancer.
But while the city's high society nursed its wounds, the rest of the nation — and Gawker in particular — turned its attention towards Tressler's steamy account of an escapade with Entourage star Jeremy Piven, who apparently took her home after she interviewed him while she was an US Weekly intern during her graduate journalism work at New York University.
The controversy had less to do with the details of the encounter as it did with Tressler's final assessment of Piven's sexual performance, which she called "boring" and "mundane" before moving onto "disappointing." The full story can be found in her new book Diary of an Angry Stripper, which has been racking up positive reviews since its release earlier this month.
For all you doubters out there, here's an unsolicited picture of Piven and Tressler that's been making the rounds, getting sent around to numerous media outlets by an agency. Real or not? One thing's for sure, Piven is sure not living this encounter down.
Now, he's our CultureMap Pix of the Day.
Now back on the reporting scene as a writer for Houston Modern Luxury magazine, Tressler is working with noted attorney Gloria Allred to pursue a formal gender discrimination complaint with the EEOC against the Houston Chronicle.
