Sometimes the closest you want to get to dirt on Earth Day is a dirty martini. Go green the glam way with this trio of Earth-conscious outings.
- For an eco-crawl, check out the Green Drinks Tour from 8 p.m. to midnight. Starting at the Washington Wave parking lot on TC Jester and Schuler, the bus will head to Branch Water Tavern, Beaver's, Kobain and The Social, where specially-priced appetizers and eco-cocktails made of TRU Organic Spirits will be on hand. A $10 ticket gets you all your Wave rides and a raffle entry, plus part of the proceeds supports Trees for Houston.
- If you crave smart art as well as delish drinks, head to the one-night only Perspectives exhibition at the posh Hotel Sorella, focusing on the unique point-of-views of six up-and-coming local artists: Saba Jawda, Claire Webb, Zach Hunt, Daniel Ortiz, David Stunts and Patrick Turk. This free event runs from 6-8:30 p.m. and features VeeV açai spirit cocktails and light bites.
- Houston Pavilions is celebrating the two-year anniversary of the all-electric REV jitney service with a Happy Hour from 5-7 p.m. with free T-shirts and parking for early goers, plus food, drinks and fun with video DJ Crazy Legs up on the central patio.
