Rocker Julian Casablancas goes for Pho at Les Givral's
Julian Casablancas is taller than you'd expect in person. The Strokes' frontman and solo artist is also a big believer in dressing colorfully.
When Casablancas went to Les Givral's Kahve at Market Square this afternoon, he wore red skinny jeans, a gold tank-top, a jacket and a pair of Wayfarers. He also sported red and blue streaks in his hair. Casablancas requested a menu from the French Vietnamese restaurant.
A University of Houston-Downtown student went up to Casablancas and told him he would be going to his show at the House of Blues tonight. Casablancas simply replied, “Cool" and shook the student's hand. The front register girl said that Casablancas "seemed like he has no ass.” Another U of H student there said, “I didn’t even realize that was him. His look is now cranked up to an 11” when compared to how his wardrobe looked before as the lead singer of The Strokes.
And he likes Pho.
