Adoptable Dog
Welcome devoted dog Jacob into your life — and lap — from the Houston SPCA
Meet Jacob, a big boy with a big heart who was rescued from a not-so-great situation by the Houston SPCA but is now poised to start his new life. Maybe that's with you?
He's a 60-pound Black Mouth Curr mix, which if you're not familiar with the breed is known for high energy and a deep love for and devotion to its humans. At only a year old, Jacob has a lot of love to give for many years to come.
In fact, since he's been in the care of the Houston SPCA Jacob hasn’t met a stranger — everyone is a potential new friend. He’s definitely people-friendly, and with a proper introduction he could be pet-friendly, too.
In addition to everything he offers, Jacob has a long list of demands. He will crawl into your lap (he strives to be a lap dog), demands belly rubs (his, not yours), and will never turn down a nice long game of fetch.
You can give Jacob the home he has always dreamed about for only $55, including microchip, neuter surgery, up-to-date vaccinations, a free sample bag of Hill’s Pet Nutrition, and a free post-exam from any VCA Animal Hospital.
Stop by the Houston SPCA, which is open every day from 11 am-6 pm, to spend some time in the play yards with Jacob and many other adoptable pets.
