Just as some people blossom when they're outdoors, Maizy the three-year-old shepherd mix truly thrives in the sunshine.
She loves running around the Houston SPCA's play yard with her pals Rocky and Tassel, and gets along well with her other furry friends on campus.
Maizy has been patiently waiting at the Houston SPCA for nearly three months. She may seem a little timid and shy with humans at first, but once she feels comfortable with someone she's affectionate, playful, and curious. If you've ever wanted a 45-pound lap dog or running buddy, she's your gal.
With compassion, love, and understanding, Maizy will undoubtedly become the shining star of any family that's lucky enough to adopt her.
Her adoption includes a microchip, spay surgery, up-to-date vaccinations, and a free sample bag of Hill's Pet Nutrition dog food.
