CultureMap Charity Challenge
12 worthy nonprofits compete in CultureMap Charity Challenge: And your vote means everything
At CultureMap, one of the things we love most about Houston is the philanthropic spirit of its residents. In the spirit of giving this holiday season, we're hosting our third annual CultureMap Charity Challenge.
We've selected 12 deserving nonprofits to compete for the grand prize and you can vote here once each day from now until December 29. We'll be posting articles detailing each charity's good works throughout the course of the challenge to help you decide how to cast your vote.
The winning organization — announced Tuesday, January 5 — will receive an exclusive promotion and advertising package from CultureMap valued at $10,000.
The list of charities includes:
- K9s4COPS
- Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation
- Houston SPCA
- Texas Children's Hospital Food Allergy Program
- Crime Stoppers of Houston
- Heroes for Children
- Dress for Success Houston
- Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston
- Freedom Place
- Citizens for Animal Protection
- The Center
- Recipe for Success
So be sure to vote — and better yet, volunteer to help out one of these organizations or one of your choosing. It will be a great way to end the year and start 2016 off right!
