You might notice a new mural at 2011 Leeland St., and hopefully it will lift your spirits.

Frost Bank commissioned self-taught urban artist Anat Ronen to depict what optimism means to her, and the result is a colorful image that's more than just writing on a wall. Ronen describes her art as "for the people," and her latest installation is meant to make people stop and think.

Come check out the mural for yourself on November 15 from 11 am-2 pm, when Frost Bank and CultureMap will be hosting a pop-up event. Snap and share a photo in front of the new wall art, use the hashtag #OptForOptimism, and you could win $500 cash plus another $500 for your favorite nonprofit.

Expect other fun surprises and giveaways throughout the day, thanks to community partners Alamo Drafthouse, High Brew, and the Houston Ballet, to name a few.
