At CultureMap Houston's recent Pink Party, benefitting the American Cancer Society and its Real Men Wear Pink campaign, guests received an extra bonus from Frost Bank.
As around 400 magenta and blush-clad partiers turned up at Shops at Arrive, they were treated to some sweet free swag (think koozies and phone wallets) from Frost, along with free class passes to Revolution Yoga & Cycle. But that wasn't all — the team was also handing out Frost cash cards and encouraging the recipients to #frostitforward.
Ideas from the delighted guests ranged from gifting the cash cards to strangers to using them to buy coffee, gas, or groceries for the lucky people behind them in line. Some even said they would use the cards to pay the registration fee to sign up for charity runs, walks, and bike rides.
This surprise was the latest in a series of pop-ups that are helping Houstonians show generosity and spread optimism.
