The email invitations have just gone out and if you've been wondering what to do with that extra 10 grand sitting in your money market account and if you're a fan of the Obamas, we've got the answer. Dinner with First Lady Michelle Obama.
FLOTUS will be making a landing in H-Town on Nov. 1 and those with deep pockets and Democratic loyalties can join her for dinner and a photo op in the River Oaks home of Laura and John Arnold. The wealthy hedge fund manager and his wife are opening their 20,000 square-foot contemporary mansion for individuals who pony up $10,000 or couples parting with $15,000 for the cause.
The email advises that dinner reservations are limited.
If a five-figure tariff is just too steep, but you still want your 15 seconds with Michelle Obama, you could sign on for the $250 per person cocktail party earlier in the evening.
Depending on your political leanings, it's all for a good cause — the Democratic party.
