“This is just something we’ve prayed for and hoped for. We wanted two babies,” Chita says. “I’m really excited.”
The Crafts already have a 2-year-old son named Les and say they are "thrilled" to find out this baby is a girl, as boys tend to run on both sides of the family. “I can’t believe it! I never really thought this would happen,” says Chita, who adds the baby girl will be named Chita, following a six-generation tradition.
Baby Chita is due in December.
KHOU also notes that morning anchor Lisa Hernandez and husband Joel Blank (who hosts The Usual Suspects on Gow Media's ESPN 97.5 and is a featured columnist on SportsMap) will also welcome a baby girl in November.
It's the second child for the couple; daughter Taylor will turn 4 in August.
