Officials briefly evacuated the massive Houston IKEA store on Sunday after a bomb threat phone call.
The incident occurred around noon and all customers and workers were asked to leave the store on the Katy Freeway.
The store was closed for less than three hours while police conducted a search. They concluded that there was no danger and the store reopened shortly after.
"This situation is currently under law enforcement investigation," a store spokeswoman emailed CultureMap in response to questions. "IKEA is dedicated to providing a safe environment for its co-workers and customers."
