A donated bass boat initiated what has become one of Pasadena’s longest-running fundraisers, The Rose Annual Shrimp Boil. Over the last 30 years, it has collected more than $1.5 million for patients in need of breast healthcare. This year the annual event will celebrate its 30th anniversary and promises to blend once again the serious business of saving lives with the pure fun of friends and family gathered around a table.
The 30th Annual Shrimp Boil will continue the long tradition of shrimp plates with a heaping side of fun. This year attendees can look forward to new games and a new selfie photo wall in addition to the usual great desserts, music, dancing, Kid’s Zone, and auctions that supporters have come to expect. This year’s event is being planned by long-time committee members such as Mark Meeker, Sharon Cho, Judy Pareya and Jennifer Pareya.

Freddy Cruz from 104.1 KRBE returns to his role as emcee for the third year. Auctioneer Bear Hebert and music to keep guest moving all evening long.
