From hospital scrubs to high style, nurse specialist has a flair beyond the operating room
From scrubs to a sassy Trina Turk shorts suit, Bria Warren easily made the transition from her residency position at St. Joseph's Hospital to the fashion playground of Tootsies. (She graduates in December with a doctorate in nurse anesthesia.)
"I tend to wear a lot of solids," she tells CultureMap, "so I love to accessorize my outfits with unique handbags, shoes, and jewelry."
For this night out with the young professionals of Dress for Success' Women of Wardrobe, she accessorized with a glittery Alexander McQueen evening clutch and Christian Louboutin pumps, both pieces from Neiman Marcus. The shorts outfit was a find at Tootsies.
Her Suzanne Kalan ring, a recent birthday gift, from IW Marks Jewelers.
"I have always loved fashion and putting outfits together for myself and others," Warren says. "So it is ironic I chose a profession where I wear scrubs to work every day. I think wearing scrubs daily makes it that much more fun when I get to get dressed up for a night out or special occasion."
