Rock-star Real Estate
Rock star's Texas home hits the market for a cool $2 million
Joey Kramer, drummer for Aerosmith and founder of Rockin' & Roastin' Coffee, has put his gorgeous Georgetown estate on the market. The home, located in the Cimarron Hills Golf Course and Country Club Community located about 15 minutes north of Austin, is listed with Megan DiBartolo of The Winnett Group for $2,235,000.
The main house (6,400 square feet) and guest cottage (600 square feet) exude Old World-style and rustic elements. Most of the rooms boast natural wood and stone accents, high ceilings, and exposed beams.
A courtyard greets you as soon as you step inside. A chef's kitchen features two dishwashers, two ovens, walk-in pantry, and built-in Miele espresso and coffee machine. The patio — our favorite space — features a summer kitchen, TV, fireplace, and views of the pool and neighboring golf course.
The master bedroom acts as a private retreat. The second-floor suite has a fireplace; private balcony; and separate space that could be used as an exercise room, nursery, or study.
There are three guest suites in the main house, as well as a one-bedroom, one-bathroom casita on the property. Good thing the estate includes a three-car garage (and separate docking space for a golf cart) to host all of these visitors.
Kramer and his wife traded this Georgetown estate for a new custom home in Boerne. Take a video tour of the for-sale home here.
