Dining Out for Life 2017
Eat well at some of Houston's top restaurants and do good at Dining Out for Life
Houstonians will get an opportunity to eat well and do good on Thursday thanks to Dining Out for Life, a nationwide effort to raise money for HIV and AIDS-related charities.
Organized locally by the AIDS Foundation Houston, over 40 Houston restaurants are supporting the cause, ranging from Houston classics like Reef, Charivari, and Americas to CultureMap Tastemaker Awards nominees like Le Colonial, State Fare, and Tacos a Go Go. The roster represents a number of price points, too.
For diners, the process couldn't be easier — just show up and eat from the restaurant's normal menu. Participating restaurants agree to donate either a flat fee of $2,000 or 25-percent of the day's sales.
Houston style setters Debbie and Rudy Festari are hosting a VIP party at B&B Butchers in the upstairs dining room. Contact the restaurant by calling 713-862-1814 to reserve a table.
For those not in the mood for steak, keep an eye out for event chairs Michael Pearce, Jessica Rossman, and Travis Torrence traveling the city and visiting as many restaurants as possible.
