Eat All The Things
Taste Addison returns with everything from Sugar Ray to sugared treats
It's time for every foodie's favorite festival: Taste Addison is happening May 31-June 2 in Addison Circle Park near Dallas.
But it's not just tasty treats that are on the menu. The three-day North Texas event is also a music and art festival, combining eats, beats, and artistic treats.
This year’s concert line-up includes favorites like Sugar Ray and Crash Adams on Friday; Toadies, Vertical Horizon, Hot Chelle Rae, and Marcy Playground on Saturday; and Hunter Hayes and Sheppard on Sunday. And those are just the headliners!
Dozens of restaurants will be sharing their best bites at this year’s festival in the Chow Hall, the Tasty Truck Stop, WorldEats Street Global Village, and other pop-ups throughout Addison Circle Park. Don’t forget to stop by the Tasting Hut for free samples from a handful of local Addison restaurants.
A natural complement to those eats are the ever-popular drinks. Make sure you reserve your spot in the new Corkyard and Speakeasy, because spaces are limited and the souvenir glasses are sure to be collector’s items. If beer is more your style, stop by the Beer Lawn for some full-sized beverages.
Finally, the visual arts are supplying this year’s event with a banquet for the eyes. From the Sip & Stroll Art Walk, Artyard, and indoor Hall of Art (hello, air conditioning!) to Shoppers Row and an amazing immersive art experience, Taste Addison has got your creative side covered.
If you’re thinking about bringing the kids along, no problem! You’ll find kid-friendly experiences in the Bite-Sized Backyard, and kids of all ages will enjoy the carnival and the silent disco.
Tickets are only $10 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12, and free for kids 5 and younger. VIP packages include food and beverage tastings, a private bar, and special reserved viewing, but these are limited so don’t wait.
