The Westin Oaks Houston at the Galleria has one primary goal: to make guests feel at home. In its latest efforts to do so, it has unveiled a renovation — worth about $20 million — to all guest rooms and suites.
From upgraded technology to roomier sleeping quarters, the Westin has thought of everything. And as it's connected to the Galleria, the country's fourth-largest shopping center, guests will have no shortage of nearby activities.
Double the comfort
We've got three words for you: double king beds. The Westin Oaks Houston just became North America's only Westin property to have two of its signature king-sized beds in every dual-bed guest room. That means that for your next bachelorette party or family staycation, everyone will have plenty of bed space to stretch out. And, of course, it's the same signature Westin Heavenly mattresses you've come to expect from the AAA Four-Diamond hotel.
Upgraded interiors to each of the hotel's 406 guest rooms aim to relax visitors with natural, organic colors mixed with new furniture and unexpected twists. If a long day of exploring the Galleria's 3 million square feet of shopping drains you, step under the hotel's new Westin Heavenly Showers (named because they feel, well, heavenly) and lather up with the hotel's Heavenly Bath products.
The comforts of home
Outside the guest rooms, the hotel's WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studio helps you stay active, even on vacation. With a mix of healthy fare and indulgent treats, the White Oak Kitchen + Drinks — the Westin Oaks Houston's restaurant — is the perfect starting or stopping point to a day spent exploring the city. Stop by for the daily happy hour from 3-7 pm.
Advanced and convenient technology
Want to keep up-to-date on your favorite shows while on vacation? Or did you somehow misplace the wall charger for your phone? No problem. The Westin Oaks Houston's 55-inch flatscreen TVs have crystal-clear pictures, and all bedside plugs have USB capabilities. Plus, high-speed Wi-Fi keeps you connected. (And if you forgot anything else at home, just ask the friendly front desk staff and they'll be happy to help.)
