Tattoos, mechanical bulls and more: RAM takes over the State Fair of Texas
Over the next month, millions of Texans from all walks of life will flock to Dallas for the State Fair of Texas, home to tall rides, fried delicacies, quality livestock and big trucks.
And right in the center of it all is RAM, which introduced the 2014 RAM 1500 EcoDiesel truck at this year's Auto Show and has set up shop at its indoor RAM Trucks Display.
Even the toughest of cowboys sometimes want a smoother ride.
The spotless RAM Laramie Longhorns inside of the Automobile Building and outside of the Truck Zone corral draw visitors in with eye-catching brushed and polished chrome, hand-crafted full-grain Natura Plus genuine leather and technologically-advanced entertainment features — but it's the activities for all ages that keep them there, like the stuffed longhorn photo-op or the rough-and-tumble Mechanical Bull.
Even the toughest of cowboys sometimes want a smoother ride, though. Children aged 3 to 7 are invited to power up a battery-powered Case IH tractor or to get behind the wheel of a battery-powered RAM Laramie Longhorn at the Truck Drive. The oval track is the ideal place to give those pint-sized models a spin.
Visitors of all ages can show their brand loyalty with a stop at the RAM Branding Station: Just select one of six custom RAM logo-influenced stencils, lean back in a leather Laramie Longhorn seat and get "branded" with an airbrush tattoo. Equipped with track lighting, an overhead roof and ceiling fans, this is the place to take a break from the heat.
Go experience it for yourself — RAM will be camped out at Fair Park through Oct. 20.
