Watch Texan Eric Winston's Monday Night Football companion show live onCultureMap
It sounds like something of a crazy experiment: An active NFL player deciding to start his own online sports TV network. That's exactly what Houston Texan right tackle Eric Winston did though and you can watch the second show of THEBUS (pronounced Thee-bis) network ever right here on CultureMap (click on the video above, the live show starts at 7:30 p.m.).
Not Your Ordinary Sports Show is meant to be companion viewing to the Monday Night Football games. Something of a cross between Mystery Science Theater 3000, Real Time with Bill Maher and Best Damn Sports Show Period, the show will have Winston and an eclectic mix of Houston guests getting into it as they watch the games.
The guests for this week's show (which airs at the same time as the New York Giants/St. Louis Rams game) are Mack Machowicz, the former Navy SEAL who hosts Deadliest Warrior on Spike TV; Texas Southern University athletic director Charles McClelland; and celebrity trial lawyer Mark Lanier. Robert Henslee, the sports director at 610 AM, is the show moderator.
