Ericka Bagwell opens her swankienda for Children's Assessment Center holidayfete
The annual holiday coffee, hosted by the board of the Children's Assessment Center Friends Guild, saw Ericka Bagwell opening the doors to her swell Memorial area home for a host of familiar faces. Lots of new faces were in the mix as supporters and friends gathered, bringing toys, gift cards and donations for those served by CAC.
Leading the stylish gathering were Guild president Kim Moody, CAC executive director Elaine Stolte and Diane Caplan, one of the chairs of the Friends spring luncheon set for April 4 at the InterContinental Houston Hotel.
Not your typical holiday coffee, this day had added appeal with the presence of Carolyn Farb signing copies of her children's book Lucas Comes to America and donating 20 percent of sales to CAC, with special artwork from Colton & Farb Gallery on display for sale, with 15 percent of proceeds going to the non-profit and jewelry displays from Shamaine Klein Designs up for sale. Shamaine designed a special charm for the event with 50 percent of those sales going to CAC.
Guild board members celebrating the season included Maria Bush, Anne Carl, Kimberly DeLape, Deborah Duncan, Tena Faust, Nancy Golden, Ursaline Hamilton, Terry Wayne Jones, Amy Lee, Stephen C. Lewis, Lucinda Loya, Christopher Mendel, Megan Sutton-Reed, Bruce Padilla and Stephanie Perkins.
