No one gets into "The Bash: A Halloween Happening" without a costume. So guests who gathered at The Corinthian Saturday night for the third annual party went all out with some of the best looks of the Halloween season.
There were giant Transformers, an Osama bin Laden (with a bullet in his head), a Kris Jenner-lookalike in a mother-of-the-bride gown with a big white bow identical to the one worn to the wedding of her daughter, Kim Kardashian, a Michael Jackson with Jeri curl, the entire cast of The Wizard of Oz — and more.
We're wondering how did Dina and Teddy Lavergne get into their car to travel to The Bash in these Transformer costumes?
Among the 750 guests: Tracy and Laurie Krohn, Kasi Kubiak, Miya Shay and Gene Wu, Kim Padgett, Sonia Soto, Lee Vela, Wendy and Alistair Dawson, Dr. Franklin Rose, Tricia and Jimmy Verbois, and Matt and Diana Harper.
Chairs Newie and Mark Brinker were thrilled that the event raised more than $200,000 for the Cerebral Palsy Fund of Easter Seals.

Channel 11 anchor Len Cannon emceeded a costume contest, where reality star Erica Rose, Channel 11 meterologist Chita Johnson and I milled among the crowd and picked contestants to participate. The audience then voted for the winner by applause, with an Osama bin Laden lookalike with a bullet in his head as the winner. A head-to-toe green GI Joe was a close runnerup.

Lots of dancing took place, along with dining, with two buffet tables filled with tacos, grilled cheese sandwiches, soups, and other edibles. Waitstaff from Jackson and Co. roamed the venue, offering hamburgers and french fries in little Dixie cups with a dab of ketchup on the bottom of the cup. Nice touch.
