There was no getting past the white velvet ropes and "security" guards at Lucinda and Javier Loya's Texans White Out tailgate party unless you were dressed in white. After all, the invitation called for white attire only.

Just ask the hapless couple so shamed when they peeked through the windows and saw the all-white fashion tableau that they ran home to change. OK, so a few guys got in wearing jeans but they at least had on white shirts.

This was just part of the electric scene at the Loya home where as a Houston Texans minority owner, Javier had the clout to draw Texans general manager Rick Smith and wife Tiffany, and Texans COO Cal McNair and wife Hannah. Of course, Lucinda's reputation as an incredible hostess, always throwing monumental parties, didn't hurt.

More than 200 Texans fans and Loya friends gathered in the couple's swank home (see it here) to celebrate the football season. In true tailgate tradition, though this party began after dark, the Loyas brought in B-Rey's Barbecue with smoker and grill to cook up tailgate barbecue favorites. The buffet table was centered with a roasted pig (wearing a tiny Texans helmet) that was the culinary hit of the night.

Highlights of Texans games looped on the giant-screen TV outdoors. Texans cheerleaders provided their team spirit posing for photos with their fans. And even Elvis, in his best jumpsuit white, joined the party. In addition to a DJ, the Loyas brought in harmonica great Ronnie Shellist and his band to perform.

Joining this elegant cheering squad were Raquel and Andrew Segal, Lori and Marty Shellist, Tama and John Klosek, Hilda and Greg Curran, Katie and A.J. Brass, Tom Glanville (Liz at New York fashion week), Ericka Bagwell with Alex Klein, Barbara and Michael Gamson, Sue and Lester Smith, Kimberly and Frank DeLape, Amy and Jim Lee and Anne and Noble Carl.
