Houston's Fresh Faces of Fashion revealed: Hot femmes show off the fall's must-haves
While the September editions of national fashion publications are bursting at the seams with visions of fall, Houston magazine is dressing trend-setting, community-minded femmes in autumn must-haves for its sixth annual Fresh Faces of Fashion feature, highlighted in the current issue.
The 10 notables were presented in the catwalk spotlight at a Tootsies fashion bash where more than 500 fashionistas, their beaus and those charming gay caballeros joined the standing room only fete. Taking bows for their fashion savvy as well as for their civic interests were Kristen Berger, Julie Longoria Chen, Kendall Claire Hanno, Kristina Hornberger, Nicole Katz, Mary-Elizabeth Moore, Laurie Schaub, Jill Ford Schlenker, Jennifer Segal and Brittany Tiner.
Houston magazine's Isabel David, perky in a Clover Canyon print dress, emceed the gathering hosted by Tootsies' Mickey Rosmarin, Houston magazine publisher Peter Remington and editor-in-chief Jeff Gremillion. (The Houston magazine crowd celebrating the September issue as number 100.)
With the Grey Goose cocktails flowing and tasty treats from Swift + Co. in ample supply, the crowd was primed for serious partying as well as for dipping into their pockets for donations to Hermann Park Conservancy, the evening's beneficiary. And that was a happy thing for conservancy director Doreen Stoller and conservancy centennial campaign chair Phoebe Tudor.
Former Fresh Faces making the scene included Kristy Bradshaw, Audrey Cochran, Katy Mayell Ellis, Allie Fields, Rosemarie Johnson, Michel Miller, Stephanie Perkins, Linsay Radcliffe, Megan Sutton-Reed and Rachel Regan.
The partying throng included Tootsies Fady Armanious, Ting Bresnahan, Jared Lang, Aleia Minyon, Jon Sudduth, Alex Blair, Paul Somerville, Cindi Rose, Joanna and Brad Marks, Keanna Keo, Tiffany Clutts, Lori Krohn and Danny David.
