Haute Boys of Summer II creates a heat wave in Saks as guys and gals partyfashionably for AFH
People-watching or serious shopping? Where to focus? On the Armani Black Label temptations and the Boss jeans or the muscle-laden male models in teeny swim trunks. That was the conundrum in the men's salon of Saks Fifth Avenue Thursday night when a swell crowd of 250 turned out to help AIDS Foundation Houston celebrate the sizzling season.
While the party was labeled "The Haute Boys of Summer II," there were plenty of high-fashion gals in the mix such as Cara Morales, Nancy Marcus Golden and Miriam Habib. And, of course, not to be missed were the hottie hunks from Page Parkes and Neal Hamil, who modeled the latest SFA fashions including that sampling of swimsuits that ended up in a competition. (Every model was a winner with judges bestowing 10s on one and all.)
Big news of the night was the fact that Momentum Mini is coming on board again as a major sponsor of the World AIDS Day luncheon by donating a brand new Mini to be raffled in the fall.
The summer swingers sipped Grey Goose cocktails, nibbled on high-style hors d'oeuvres from 51fifteen Restaurant (just one floor down via the escalator) and swayed to the sounds of DJ Shy Guy.
This light-hearted mid-summer entertainment raised $5,000 for AFH. Big news of the night was the fact that Momentum Mini is coming on board again as a major sponsor of the World AIDS Day luncheon by donating a brand new Mini to be raffled in the fall. A spanking new 2012 Mini Coupe was on display in the SFA valet parking lot for guests to get a close-up look-see.
The party crowd included David Arpin, Alex Rodriguez, Miya Shay, Nathan Kasselder, Kim Padgett, Erica Renee Garza, Webb Davis, Michael Mandola, Monte Meave, William Dobbs, Josh Connolly, Valerie Flores, Barry Aldeen, Lulu Tabel, Billy Hart, Neal Hamil and Dustin Mansyur.
