Another new luxury car mega dealership celebrates its Energy Corridor groundbreaking

The 411: More than 150 movers and shakers turned out to view the shovels turned on the new 95,000 square foot state-of-the-art BMW dealership, designed by the same firm, Goree Architects, that designed the stellar 170,000 square foot Audi Central Houston headquarters that opened earlier this year. The slick new BMWs are planned to be on view in the new digs in the first quarter of 2015. Sonic Automotive is parent company of both dealerships.
The party took place beneath an elegant tent where breakfast treats and Pura Java coffee were served. Artist Taft McWhorter created an on-the-scene artwork while Linda Lorelle emceed and led the champagne toast. The event featured a Hawaiian-style blessing in which BMW West general manager Maria Moncada-Alaoui and inMotion Marketing president Nikki Hart were presented with Hawaiian orchid leis for good luck and success.
