From stylish toddlers to teens, these kids ruled the catwalk at Houston Symphonyluncheon
Oh, the adoring moms and dads proudly cooing as their kiddos made their runway debuts in the ballroom of River Oaks Country Club. The Houston Symphony League children's fashion show and luncheon featured more than 60 children and grandchildren of symphony supporters.
The youngsters strutted their stuff in fashions from Neiman Marcus while the cameras flashed. Just about everyone in the audience contributed to the chorus of oohs, aahs and applause that greeted the youthful models. Include symphony CEO and executive director Mark Hanson among the proud papas who snapped away as sons Nicholas and Christopher and mom Christina Hanson walked the runway.
Donna Josey Chapman chaired the event that raised funds for the symphony's outreach and education program, "Music Matters!" Fashion iconLynn Wyatt served as guest speaker, sharing what it was to grow up in the world of fashion and speaking of her love of music.
Savoring this youth-filled fashion frolic were Cabrina Owsley, Max Chapman, Kelli and Eddy Blanton, Betty Tutor, Joanne King Herring, Stanisse King, J.B. Fairbanks, Joella and Steve Mach, Cora Sue and Harry Mach, Carmen and Butch Mach, Peggy Hennessy, Catherine Hennessy, April and Tom Lykos and Jule and Albert Smith.
