Anyone who has been waiting impatiently since hipster haven Moon Tower Inn closed unexpectedly in October now has even more to look forward to.

The gourmet hot dog guys, who have been busy manning their food truck, the Meat Wagon, took to Facebook on Thursday to make a couple of big announcements and answer some lingering questions.

As Moon Tower's Alex Garcia told CultureMap in October, the plan is to tear down the existing structure and rebuild out of shipping containers, and the new structure will include a water harvesting system, which Garcia listed as a possibility. But there's more than that on the way.

As Moon Tower posted,

yes we are REOPENING, yes we are building out of SHIPPING CONTAINERS, yes we will have a WATER HARVEST SYSTEM, yes we will have 42 TAPS on the wall, yes we are putting in a BREWERY!!!!!, YES YES YES!"

We'll be on the lookout to see what Houston should expect from a Moon Tower brewery, and 42 beer taps will certainly make the EaDo spot a contender as one of the best beer joints in town. Unfortunately the post didn't give any clues as to when Moon Tower expects to be open again.

Are you excited about the new brewery?
