Everyone knows you can't go to Rehab just once! Houston gets two new bars withthe same name
Two new bar openings have us headed almost certainly for Rehab.
First, the old Houston Avenue Bar is being rebranded as re:HAB (get it, re:Houston Avenue Bar? We knew you would). The particularly festive-looking building at 1920 Houston Avenue, at the corner of Houston Avenue and Spring Street, is in its soft opening. Expect local brews from brands like Southern Star and backyard cooking by Kris Davis.
A second Rehab is also tempting recovering patrons at 511 Main St. downtown — the former location of Latin dance club Heat. We expect this rehab will have a starkly different ambiance, however, than our first — sort of like the difference between Promises and Betty Ford.
