Amazon Restaurant Delivery
Amazon introduces no-cost delivery from 100 Houston restaurants
Ever wanted a Common Bond croissant or a Cease and Desist burger at Hay Merchant but didn't feel like driving to Montrose? How about some of Dak & Bop's ultra-crispy Korean fried chicken but lacked the time to visit the Museum District?
Amazon has a solution. This week the Seattle-based retail giant added almost 100 Houston restaurants to its PrimeNow delivery service, which offers one-hour delivery to Amazon Prime customers. Restaurant delivery is available from 8 am until 11 pm.
Best of all, unlike competitors like UberEATS, Favor, and DoorDash, Amazon doesn't charge a delivery fee when customers meet a $20 minimum order. The dishes are the same price as they are on the restaurant's menu. The delivery fee is included in the cost of an Amazon Prime membership, just like two-day shipping and the series run of The Americans.
So far, the delivery area is fairly limited. Sign on to Amazon and check your zip code to see if you qualify.
