A rose by any other name may smell as sweet, but it looks like Tesars Modern Steak & Seafood couldn't last without namesame chef John Tesar.

Days after the departure of co-executive chefs Jeramie Robison and Austin Simmons, the doors appear to be closed for good — at least according to a sign on the door that says that the Tesars owners owe $26,000 in unpaid rent.

With an enviable location, big-name chef and a menu that bridged high-end and casual American fare, this place seemed to have everything going for it.
