The procrastinator's guide to Easter brunch

Break out the Peeps and matzo balls, Easter and Passover are upon us. While everyone loves a nice big meal with family and friends, all that in-house entertaining and confetti egg clean-up can take some of the fun out of an otherwise low-key holiday weekend.
Never fear, CultureMap is here to help with a list of Sunday brunch and dinner options sure to entice a wide range of palates.
The classics
- Mockingbird Bistro will have a three-course brunch menu available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $65 a person ($25 for ages 12 and under).
- From 10:30 a.m. to 3 pm. Rainbow Lodge has a three-course Easter brunch for $45 a person, complete with an Easter Bunny visit. The dinner begins at 5 p.m. with half price wines until 10 p.m. Warning, seating is limited.
- From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Brasserie 19 is offering its regular classic French with a twist for brunch, but notes that reservations are getting thin. Starting at 5 p.m. the restaurant's outstanding evening menu could make for a memorable Easter dinner.
The mods
- Triniti has a four-course brunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for $65 a person. Plates for kids are only $10.
- Both the Rice Village and Washington Avenue branches of Benjy's have a $35 brunch menu from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Executive chef Robert del Grande is creating a special $35 menu for The Grove's brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Veg-friendly options
- From 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Indika is offering a $25 prix-fixe menu heavy on veggies with plenty of meat options. Anita Jaisinghani's Pondicheri will serve its usual Sunday brunch as well.
- Radical Eats will dish out an Easter version of its zany vegan brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $13 a person.
- Prego, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., has a $42 Gulf Coast-meets-Italy brunch menu as well as two $30 menus for vegans and gluten-freers.
- Kiran's will have a special Indian brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $45 with tons of non-meat dishes.
Seasonal and local faves
- Sorrel Urban Bistro is planning a special farm-to-market menu brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a regular dinner menu from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Roots Bistro is doing its excellent farmer's-market-fresh brunch from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Haven will serve a $40 regionally-inspired brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- And a side note. . . Revival Market will have a huge selection of locally-sourced meat and veggies on Saturday for those braving a Easter Sunday meal themselves.
