It's an Uptown Park shake-up.
Arturo's Uptown Italiano executive chef and partner Arturo Boada has announced that he is parting with his namesake restaurant, effective immediately. Arturo's will continue to operate under the direction of owner Bill Sadler, who opened the restaurant with Boada five years ago.
"I have loved serving my customers and appreciate the wonderful friendships I've made over the last five years," said Boada in an e-mail. "I am busy working on a new restaurant I think you will agree is my best."
Boada first made a name in Houston with Solero, in a historic building behind the Rice Hotel, along with restaurants Beso and La Mer.
His new restaurant is said to be located in the Tanglewood area.
