Hubba hubba. Friends, meet the iPad's supposed fiery foe.
Online retailer Amazon set gadget junkies ablaze with excitement on Wednesday after revealing its latest digital darling. In fact, Amazon's touchpad expertise is on fire — Kindle Fire, to be precise — with whispers of "iPad killer" being slung around the world.
Some aren't quite as dramatic. More of a Nook Color competitor than anything else, it remains to be seen how flammable the Kindle Fire will prove to the iPad's target market.
While it won't be officially available until Nov. 15, chatter from the techie masses nonetheless conveys a very evident, very burning desire to get their sweaty paws on this Fire.
But with that pretty little price point, who wouldn't be feeling a bit flushed right now?
