Summer celebrations are simpler with Instacart's door-to-door delivery
Summer may be winding down, but we still have at least a month left of cookouts, pool parties and Labor Day fetes to plan. And with temperatures still hovering at 90 degrees and above, who wants to get in their hot car to drag pounds of produce, barbecue supplies, or crates of Topo Chico across town?
Smart shoppers know to skip the store (and the schlep) and use Instacart. Available in the Houston area since 2014, this easy service just expanded its delivery area, allowing users from Independent Heights to Garden Oaks, Timbergrove to Willowbrook, Montrose to Memorial Park, and just about everyone else in H-Town to get all their summer party essentials without breaking a sweat. You can find a full list of included ZIP codes on Instacart's website.
It also couldn't be easier to use. Just go to Instacart.com or open the mobile app on your iPhone or Android device, select your ZIP code and store, and add grocery items (alcohol is included) to a virtual cart. Choose a delivery window — such as "within one hour," "within two hours," or up to seven days in the future — and check out.
An Instacart personal shopper accepts the order on his or her smartphone, uses the Instacart Shopper app to guide them through the store, then delivers the order to the directly to you.
Essential stores include HEB, Central Market, Whole Foods Markets, Costco, CVS, Petco, Rice Epicurean Markets, Spec’s, Sur la Table, and Total Wine & More, among others, so any soup-to-nuts shopping is sure to be covered.
Because Instacart is also in the mood to celebrate summer, it's offering a special one-time code for a $20 credit and free delivery on any first order of $35 or more.

The promo code CMAP20 for $20 off expires 8/31/2017 at 11:59 pm PST, and is only valid on first-time orders of $35 or more made through Instacart. Instacart and/or certain retailers may not be available in all zip codes.
