    Gabi De la Rosa
    Sep 6, 2023 | 9:35 am

After Labor Day, as everyone gears up for those fabulous fall fashion finds, the ladies of Houston are still keeping it cool. While the rest of the world is reaching for cozy sweaters and pumpkin-spiced lattes, Houstonians are navigating the aisles in their summer dresses, thanks to these persistent triple-digit temperatures.

Who says you can't rock a cute sundress or a stylish pair of shorts while sipping iced coffee? Let's embrace the endless summer and find those transitional pieces that effortlessly blend the seasons.

We've rounded up a full roster of Houston designers, fall drops, and fun pop-ups to keep September's shopping season busy. So, grab the sunblock and oversized shades, and let's make shopping after Labor Day in Houston a sizzling, style-packed adventure.

    Ann Made Clay

Physicians Assistant at MD Anderson Cancer Center by day and polymer clay artist by night, Ann Made Clay's intricate jewelry sells out as quickly as she makes it. Stalk her Instagram feed for pre-orders and new drop announcements – her earrings are a must for this fall season.

    Christina Greene Jewelry

Houston jewelry designer Christina Greene recently dropped her fall collection, including a line of new cuffs, earrings, necklaces, and rings – all containing the brand's signature turquoise stone. Shoppers can pop into her Rice Village outpost or shop online.

    Christy Lynn

Luxury womenswear label Christy Lynn opened her first flagship store in Memorial. Guests can shop her newest fall collection with her signature hand-painted floral designs, beautiful skills, and one-of-a-kind fabrics.

    House of Creed

The House of Creed just unveiled their latest scent, Carmina. It is a bold and sultry scent inspired by Henry Creed's fashion sketchbooks, passed down the Creed family for generations. Carmina has notes of black cherry, pink pepper, violet, and muted rose. The scent is also layered with saffron, musk, ambers, and cashmere wood. Carmina is available in the Galleria's Creed Boutique.

    Elizabeth Anthony

September is a busy month at Uptown's Elizabeth Anthony. The boutique will host several trunk shows, including a Designers Evening Showcase, Derek Lam 10 Crosby pop-up, and Naeem Khan Trunk Show. Lourdes Chavez will also make a personal appearance during her Spring 2023 Collection Trunk Show. Find out more details and more information here.

    Hibiscus Linens

Prepare for fall soirees and gift-giving at Hibiscus Linens. The bustling boutique will be everywhere this fall, including Round Top and the Nutcracker Market. Shoppers can stock up on exquisite embroidered cocktail napkins, linens, handkerchiefs, table linens, and the ever-popular blockprint shirt dresses.

    Inclán Studio

Houston-based ready-to-wear fashion label Inclán recently dropped their fall collection with gorgeous lightweight dresses perfect for Houston's temperate climate. The Inwood Dress in the colorway Evergreen combines breathable cotton and luxurious silk perfectly. The Octavia Kaftan in Espresso is roomy and comfortable for any occasion.

Kendra Scott's newest collection is live and ready to elevate game day looks. Shoppers can rep their school colors with earrings and necklace stacks. Additionally, Kendra Scott's Woodlands' Market Street location offers her newest permanent jewelry program, Sparked. The permanent jewelry collection includes dainty 14K Yellow Gold styles featuring the Eternity Diamond Cut Chain Bracelet, Eternity Satellite Chain Bracelet, Eternity Paperclip Chain Bracelet, and Eternity Rope Chain Bracelet.

A luxurious spa day is the ultimate Mother’s Day gift, with Houston hotspots offering everything from glow-boosting facials to full-body wellness escapes.

Whether you treat Mother's Day as a clichéd holiday or a well-earned excuse to indulge, one gift never misses: a luxurious day at the spa. This year, Houston's top spas and wellness spots are rolling out the red carpet for every type of mother. For those who are skincare-obsessed or moms in serious need of a reset, consider these curated treatments, limited-time packages, and wellness experiences to help unwind, recharge, and genuinely feel appreciated.

    Altered States Wellness
Perfect for moms who would rather reset than sit through another brunch, Altered States Wellness is offering several feel-good experiences. The studio's limited-time offerings include Mom's Solo Escape with a mix of infrared sauna, float therapy, and a FarmHouse Fresh skincare gift bag. Mom's and Mimosas is a shared session featuring sauna, cold plunge, red light therapy, compression boots, and bubbly.

    Biologique Recherche
For mothers who have it all and are skincare devotees, cult-favorite Biologique Recherche in River Oaks District offers treatments and serums backed by both beauty and science. Leading the lineup is Soin Seconde Peau, a 90-minute treatment inspired by medical-grade products that boosts skin renewal, enhances repair, and visibly smooths wrinkles. Just in time for Mother's Day, the Parisian brand also recently launched Sérum Spectral, which reinforces the skin's own capacity to adjust and recover from daily light exposure through three nature-derived active ingredients, including arctic lingonberry, schisandra berries, and indirubin.

    Blushington
The first Houston location of Blushington recently opened in River Oaks, and now Houstonians can look forward to booking everything from signature blowouts and styling to special occasion hair, extensions and wig styling, makeup services, and brow and lash tinting. For skin-savvy moms, Blushington also offers skincare services with products from Dr. Neal Schultz's Beauty Rx, including the BeautyRx Peel Bar, along with focused treatments for the face, neck, and décolleté, hands, and under-eye areas.

    Hotel ZaZa, Memorial City
Just in time for Mother's Day, ZaSpa is offering a Summer of Spa package for those who book any signature massage, facial, or body treatment. The package includes all-day access to Hotel ZaZa's pool and amenities, including complimentary valet parking, towel service and lockers, infrared sauna access, and poolside food and handcrafted cocktails available for purchase.

    Skin Laundry
Skin Laundry is now open in The Woodlands. Just like its counterpart at M-K-T, the new location will offer medical-grade laser facials designed to improve skin tone, texture, and clarity in 15–30 minute sessions. The brand is known for its non-invasive treatments, which support long-term skin health through accessible, consistent care. Some of the most popular treatments include the Signature Laser Facial, Resurfacing Facial, and the Power Signature Facial. The Signature Laser Facial is available to first-time clients for $50.

    Trellis Spa
This Mother's Day, Trellis Spa is featuring a lineup of indulgent experiences that feel like a destination getaway. Created as a “boarding pass” to relaxation, each package is a journey that combines therapeutic treatments in a luxurious spa setting. Options range from a quick reset to an all-day retreat.

The Grand Voyage is a 100-minute experience featuring an AgeWell Massage and AgeWell Facial, while The Serenity Sojourn stretches to 150 minutes with a CMD cocoon ritual and CBD pedicure. For those prepared to fully unplug, the Continental Luxe offers 275 minutes of pampering with a customized massage, a Trellis Facial, and a Diamond Luxe pedicure. At the top end, The Citrus Riviera offers a 300-minute escape complete with a customized massage, facial, and seasonal Blood Orange pedicure, making it the ultimate way to spend Mother’s Day without ever leaving Houston.
