European perfume House of Creed just debuted its first scent of 2024, Queen of Silk. The newest fragrance is an exclusive launch in partnership with Neiman Marcus. Fans of the brand can get their hands on the latest scent only at Neiman Marcus or at Creed Boutiques – luckily, Houstonians can pop into either location with one stop at The Galleria.
According to press materials, "The House of Creed embarked on a mission to craft a perfume that mirrored the vividness and softness, the airiness and lavishness of silk. Thus, the collaboration with Neiman Marcus, a pioneer in innovation and high fashion since 1907, was the obvious partner for the brand."

The name Queen of Silk is an obvious nod to the heritage of House of Creed, which dates back to the late 1700s. The perfume house started as a family of bespoke tailors making scented gloves and exquisite garments for English royalty before becoming the perfume house they are known as today.
Creed uses top-of-the-line natural ingredients for their fragrances, which notably take much longer to produce. In years past, Creed would launch a scent every seven to eight years. However, there has been an increase in production–Carmina and Absolu Aventus were both launched in 2023–since the perfume house was acquired by luxury powerhouse Kering Beauté who famously owns brands including Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Saint Laurent, and Bottega Veneta.

Queen of Silk is classified as a floral, amber, and fruity with notes of osmanthus, magnolia, and saffron. Other notes include tuberose, passion fruit, vanilla, myrrh, Chinese cedarwood, and musk. Like all of Creed's fragrances, Queen of Silk has longevity; it lasts six to eight hours before needing a refresh.
