Eclectic Houston luxury boutique unveils stylish new downtown location
Marcus Sloan and Shannon Hall have not one, but two reasons to celebrate this holiday season. Their eclectic luxury boutique, Sloan/Hall, commemorates 25 years in business and a third location in the newly transformed C.Baldwin hotel located in downtown Houston.
“We can’t think of a better way to celebrate 25 years in business than by opening our third outlet in a hotel that honors a visionary woman who was instrumental in the early development of Houston,” added Hall, of the hotel named for the iconic Charlotte Baldwin, often called the “mother of Houston.”
Sloan/Hall opened its first location in San Antonio, December 1994 followed by their Houston establishment in 1998. Featuring the latest fashion from Amsterdam's Georgine Ratelband, New York’s Frederick Anderson, and Tokyo’s Shiro Sakai, Sloan/Hall is also committed to devoting at least 50 percent of its inventory to Texas-made-or-designed products.
Highlights in-store include Dawson-Hellman pajamas by San Antonio resident and Houston native Sonya Dawson; Kimora Lee Simmons ready-to-wear items headed up by Houston native Cesar Galindo; Cultus Artem perfumes and jewelry by San Antonio resident Holly Tupper; BulletGirl jewelry by Houston’s own Jessica Meyer; San Saba Soap Company (made even more special because it hails from Sloan’s hometown); Lizabeth Jewelry collection from Austin; and hand bags and accessories by Houston’s Elizabeth Purpich.
“The vision and painstaking detail that went into this project is an inspiration. To that end, we look to provide our guests with a one-of-a-kind retail experience that includes special events and trunk shows featuring the brands we love,” said Hall.
