I hate shopping for Christmas gifts. No one I know really needs anything and everyone is so picky. So this year, I looked to the stars for guidance.

While I'm not a big follower of astrology, I have noticed that people born in certain months have similar traits. Librans are warm but indecisive (that's me). Scorpios and Aries are quick to explode but never hold a grudge. Virgos are methodical while Capricorns never seem to have money issues. So I’ve come up with a “shoppers horoscope” that may help in the search for a last-minute gift for your wife, lover or friend.

Sagittarius (November 23 – December 21)
As the sign of the archer, you’d much rather live under the stars than under a roof. Since sporting activity is in your DNA, you naturally gravitate toward comfortable clothing — long flowing skirts, loose-fitting jeans, hiking boots and sandals. Only natural fibers touch your body. Your motto: Have Bag Will Travel, so a carry-all makes a good gift. It’s time to camp out.

Capricorn (December 22 – January 20)

Aquarius (January 21 – February 19)
Admit it. You like to be a little unpredictable. Pisces (February 20 – March 20)
As the sign of the Fish, water rules your life. So it’s no wonder that you gravitate to deep sea blues and greens, amethyst and aquamarine. That dreamy quality dominates your wardrobe. You prefer floating chiffon and shimmering silk to worsted wool or cotton. Above all, you treasure beautiful things. That’s why jewelry holds such power over you. Dream on.

Aries (March 21 – April 20)
As the first sign of the Zodiac, you’re used to being the leader. You’re out there with the latest trends and you like to play with fire. Your favorite ‘70s band, Foreigner, says it best, “Hot blooded, check it and see.” At a holiday party, you’ll compete with Scorpio to attract the most attention.
